Yang Chow was first started as a kiosk in a call center in HTMT, Libis, Quezon City in October 2008 offering dimsum, mami and rice toppings. The second kiosk opened in 2009 in Salcedo Tower, Makati. IPO filed 2009 and obtained last 2010.

Operated initially as single proprietorship under AMM Yang Chow Food Express. Eventually grew into full store operations by 2010, come 2013, became Yang Chow Food Concept Inc. with existing 4 stores and 3 soon to open franchisees.
